Grow NOW is a Washington-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering young adults overcoming adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) through scholarships, mentorship, leadership development, emotional healing, workforce readiness, and community support. Founded in 2016, Grow NOW was created on the belief that every young adult deserves the opportunity to succeed, regardless of the challenges they have faced. Many of the young adults we serve have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect, instability, or significant life obstacles that can impact education, employment, relationships, and overall well-being. Through a combination of financial support, mentorship, personal development, and community connection, Grow NOW helps participants build confidence, resilience, life skills, and pathways to long-term success. Our Scholarship and Mentorship Program provides support for young adults pursuing college, trade school, certification programs, and career advancement opportunities. Beyond financial assistance, recipients are paired with mentors and connected to a supportive network of professionals, business leaders, and community members who invest in their growth and future. Since our founding, Grow NOW has awarded 18 scholarships, supported educational achievement, helped young adults enter the workforce, assisted in launching small businesses, and maintained long-term mentorship relationships that continue long after scholarship support ends. Our recipients have gone on to earn degrees, launch businesses, serve their communities, and pursue advanced education, including doctoral-level studies. In addition to supporting scholarship recipients, Grow NOW brings together a community of servant leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, and community members who believe that growth and giving go hand in hand. Through networking events, leadership opportunities, educational programs, volunteer initiatives, and community partnerships, members support one another's personal and professional growth while investing in the next generation. Our vision is to create a future where young adults overcoming adversity have access to the support, opportunities, and relationships needed to thrive. By strengthening individuals, we strengthen families, businesses, and our communities.
